Cox Enterprises Promotes Cody Partin to Vice President of Real Estate and Strategic Investments

Jan 10, 2013

Cox Enterprises today announced that Cody Partin has been promoted to vice president of real estate and strategic investments, effective immediately. He reports to Leigh Scott, senior vice president of family office and real estate.

“As our companies have grown, Cody has done an outstanding job making sure our real estate needs are met,” said Scott. “He’s helped plan for today while anticipating future needs. As a result of his work, Cox’s companies have experienced new opportunities to collaborate.”

He supports the administration of the Family Office and oversees Cox Enterprises’ commercial real estate function.

Partin was instrumental in the construction of a 600,000-square-foot facility for Cox Communications’ technology department and is working on the upcoming construction of a 578,000 square-foot-office building to house Cox Communications’ corporate operations.

He helped consolidate AutoTrader.com’s workforce from five facilities into one location and led Cox’s donation of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s former downtown six-acre headquarters complex to the City of Atlanta.

Prior to joining Cox, he was an associate at Dow Lohnes PLLC. He serves on the board of directors for the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts and is an active supporter of the Atlanta Children’s Shelter and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in politics from Oglethorpe University and a juris doctor degree from Harvard Law School.
